Weird Al Yankovic is a wonderful song writer and just because he’s a geek doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a huge fan base. His large amount of fans made him where he is today. He’s a super geek who is famous for all his songs and his weird parodies. He’s definitely worthy of a top 10 geek list and should remain there for his entire life. He’s super cool in his own right but also the super geek of the music world – if you’ve never heard his stuff then I urge you to go and listen on his website or his myspace page.

He was actually quite a successful computer programmer in his time but I think he should probably stick to the music – which he has so we can all be happy. Elvis Costello is a super cool guy but is still a nerd, a geek and a damn good guitarist. You can’t go wrong with a bit of Elvis Costello playing in the background – I wonder if he’d carried on with his computer programming whether he would have made it quite so far? I’m thinking not. Especially when you consider he’s around the same age as good old Bill Gates so he probably would have had stiff competition.
